While doing your research, you need to state whether you have the Classic Edition or the new body style that came out in 2019. Not sure how true that is, it's just something I came across while researching this. I've read that FCA was forced to stop advertising it as a bed extender because it blocks the tail lights. So far, all the 5th gens I've seen have the mounting points to attach the nubs. Since I'm familiar with the divider on the 4th gens, I could see that the mounting nubs for a 4th gen would work if mounted on a 5th gen. Like I mentioned above, the mounting nubs are not even listed in the 2019 or 2020 parts list at the dealer parts counter. When I ordered my divider I also made sure they ordered all the parts I would need, including the mounting nubs to use it as a bed extender. Sounds like it's different in your area, I'm just letting you know what my experiences have been regarding this. And I was surprised at how many sales people didn't know about the divider. None of the dealer websites in my area even talk about the bed divider, and like I said before, they're pretty much clueless when it comes to the rambox option because almost no one wants it. I have a feeling that people will not hesitate to grab yours if it's not locked in place, especially now that they aren't included. If you decide to get the divider, make sure they include all the parts you will need for it. But, those parts from a 4th gen work just fine, and I can use my divider as a bed extender on my 2020. The parts for that aren't even in the parts system for 5th gens. ![]() Also, they no longer advertise the bed divider as a bed extender for 5th gens, and new trucks with the rambox option don't have the mounting hardware for the bed extender. I ended up having to pay $900 to get the divider and the installation kit (including key lock cylinder kit). And most of the dealerships in my area are clueless when it comes to the rambox, no matter which generation. Who knows why they made this change, but I wasn't happy about it. If they add the bed utility group BEFORE adding the rambox option, you will not get a divider. If you order the truck from a dealer, you will get the divider if they add the bed utility group AFTER adding the rambox option. I went through this when I bought my 2020 Laramie. You no longer get the bed divider with the rambox cargo management system. That's a change which came with the 2019 models. Your dealership is being generous to only charge $600 for it. ![]()
